About The Position

This role involves overseeing daily production activities in the weldline/body shop, ensuring production targets are met, and supporting various manufacturing processes including spot welding, MIG/MAG welding, projection welding, and robotic welding. The position also requires involvement in Body-in-White assembly, quality assurance, continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring safety and compliance with EHS and 5S standards.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical
• Degree with 2 yrs. of experience.
• Diploma with 3 yrs. of experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily weldline/body shop production activities.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per plan.
• Support line balancing and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with operators, supervisors, and maintenance teams.
• Support Spot Welding, MIG/MAG Welding, and Projection Welding operations.
• Monitor welding parameters and process stability.
• Assist in weld quality inspections and defect reduction activities.
• Support robotic welding cell operations.
• Work on Body-in-White (BIW) assembly processes.
• Ensure proper fitment and assembly of body components.
• Support dimensional quality and body geometry control.
• Ensure adherence to manufacturing standards and work instructions.
• Conduct quality checks and defect analysis.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, and process audits.
• Ensure compliance with customer and company quality requirements.
• Participate in Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Support cycle time reduction and productivity improvement projects.
• Track and report production performance metrics.
• Follow EHS and shop floor safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with 5S requirements.
• Support implementation of safe working practices.
