About The Position

This role involves monitoring the production schedule, ensuring performance targets are met, and identifying cost-control measures within the Paint Shop. The Deputy Manager will also focus on improving team performance, anticipating and resolving production concerns across various stages of the paint process, and ensuring shop floor safety and efficiency.

Requirements

3-7 Years as Production Officer in Car Manufacturing Company

Responsibilities

Monitor the production schedule according to set targets.
Ensure achievement of measures of Performance (MOP) targets using PDCA approach.
Identify ways to control cost and increase the efficiency of Paint shop production.
Monitor and improve BWT (Body Work Team) performance with respect to PQCDSM.
Anticipate concerns in PT, CED , underbody spray, sealer line, sanding, primer, base coat, top coat , oven, spot repair & wax line and take proactive measures to achieve quick stabilization.
Drive QCRT forums for concern analysis.
Ensure safety on the shop floor and take part in safety related internal/external audits.
Conduct JH & Maintain 3S as per standards.
Tools & equipment Management
Maintain OLE (Overall Line Effectiveness ) records , restore minor stoppages & breakdown quickly by taking ICA (Immediate Corrective Action) and PCA (Permanent Corrective Action) to minimize/eliminate recurrence.
