About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing production-related activities in the Paint shop, focusing on ensuring output and quality. The Deputy Manager will manage process-related defects, conduct lab testing, support customers, and monitor team attendance. A key aspect of the role involves identifying cost-effective solutions for consumables through monitoring and implementing innovative ideas (I4/Kaizens). The position also emphasizes creating a safe and engaging work environment and maintaining equipment safety through monitoring interlocks.

Requirements

• Hands on experience of handling PTCED line
• Knowledge of Paint Shop equipments like spray guns, pumps, blowers, burners
• Understanding of ED/Paint defects and Troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Manufacturing process and Supplier processes
• Knowledge of Quality tools, systems and TPM
• Knowledge of Best practices in Industry

Responsibilities

• Ensure PTCED output and its production related activities
• Control CED/Paint defects due to Process and perform various lab testing required for PTCED
• Coordinate and provide supporting hand to both internal & external customers
• Monitor and control absenteeism on line by planning of cell members leave
• Find cost effective solution for the consumable Items by monitoring, suggesting and implementing I4 ideas/Kaizens
• Create a conducive environment for safe and engaged working
• Maintain safety of Equipments by monitoring safety interlocks
