About The Position

Leidos Defense Radar Build Program in Huntsville, AL office is seeking a talented Deputy Integration/Test IPT Lead. The candidate will provide programmatic leadership within Leidos and the Department of Defense customer community to execute radar system design, testing, and production activities. In this programmatic position, the candidate will be expected to apply deep domain knowledge to provide leadership to the program efforts to advance and execute reduced costs and rapid development of radar systems. Such efforts include radar design, integration, test planning, ground test operations, production planning, process improvements and supply chain engagement.

Requirements

  • BA degree plus 4–8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2–6 years of prior relevant experience. In lieu of degree High School or equivalent degree plus 12 years of relevant experience will be considered.
  • Experience in Cost estimating and Budget management
  • Experience in Organizational/IPT development
  • Experience leading a large and diverse team including suppliers and subcontractors
  • Proven experience managing and meeting tight schedules
  • Effective communication of information between various functional disciplines as well as strong briefing skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Proven history of working in a team environment, fostering communication, listening to teammate concerns and reconciling internal issues or differences
  • Proven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve complex problems and make sound decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with measured and articulate communication skills
  • Analytical and strong organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written ability
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance
  • Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL, area

Responsibilities

  • Perform Project Management functions for the team involved with design and development of advanced radar systems and subsystems.
  • Planning, tracking, and execution of complex tasking within technical, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Customer-facing role, representing the integration team in the absence of the Integration IPT Lead.
  • Provide leadership to program efforts to advance and execute reduced costs and rapid development of radar systems.
  • Involves radar design, integration, test planning, ground test operations, production planning, process improvements and supply chain engagement.
