About The Position

The Deputy General Manager supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC 3). The candidate will have responsibilities in Business Operations, Contract Performance, Customer Relations, Beyond Zero (safety and culture), Together Beyond (HR and inclusion), and Business Development. This position requires daily presence at the primary work locations in Colorado Springs, CO, and is an onsite role. The role involves ensuring overall operations meet corporate objectives, driving sustained superior performance, developing growth opportunities, managing financial commitments, overseeing business systems, reviewing policies, and managing outreach and communications. The Deputy General Manager will also be responsible for integrating and coordinating contract activities, supporting innovative solutions, providing technical/administrative leadership, ensuring effective resource allocation, developing and implementing technical programs, and overseeing the contract risk program. Optimizing customer visibility, interfacing with senior officials, and serving as an official corporate officer to clients are key aspects of customer relations. The role also oversees the local safety program and drives a Culture of Caring. Supporting the HR team in talent acquisition, retention, and fostering an inclusive environment through 'Together Beyond' principles, championing leadership development, and managing personnel performance are also crucial. Business development support includes bid and proposal activities for rebid and new contract opportunities, collaborating with corporate sales teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma (or GED) and 18 years of general experience; OR Associate’s degree and 16 years of general experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 14 years of general experience; OR Master’s degree and 12 years of general experience
  • 12 years of experience working in management or leadership roles
  • Experience with DoD or Federal Government IT contract of similar scope and complexity
  • Experience with engineering and science-based contracts
  • An active DoD Top Secret with SCI Eligibility Clearance

Responsibilities
