About The Position

The Deputy General Manager supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC 3). The candidate will have: Business Operations: ensure overall operations of the PU meet corporate objectives; drive Sustained Superior Performance, with a focus on continuous improvement; develop opportunities for growth, both in revenue and profitability; ensure task orders deliver on financial commitments; work with business office to ensure business systems support contract objectives; review policies and procedures for PU and company-wide application; oversee outreach and communications, both internal to the PU and within the local community Contract Performance: successfully integrate and coordinate all activities needed to execute the requirements of the contract; support innovative solutions to drive technical excellence for the customer; provide technical/administrative leadership; ensure resources are effectively staffed, allocated, and managed; develop, plan and implement technical programs; oversee the contract risk program. Customer Relations: optimize customer visibility; interface with senior Officials; serve as official corporate officer to current and potential clients. Beyond Zero: oversee the local safety program; drive our Culture of Caring across the PU. Together Beyond: support the HR team with increasing talent pools, attracting the best candidates, and maintaining appropriate levels of staffing and retention; drive our Together Beyond principals to create an inclusive environment; champion local leadership development; assign, develop, and review performance of personnel. Business Development: support opening, middle, and end game activities in the pursuit of rebid and new contract opportunities; collaborating with corporate sales teams in pursuit of contract opportunities. Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Be present daily at the primary work locations, which are the Chidlaw Building and Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station, both of which are in Colorado Springs, CO This position will be filled and work onsite at Chidlaw Building, Colorado Springs, CO

Requirements

  • HS Diploma (or GED) and 18 years of general experience; OR Associate’s degree and 16 years of general experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 14 years of general experience; OR Master’s degree and 12 years of general experience
  • 12 years of experience working in management or leadership roles
  • Experience with DoD or Federal Government IT contract of similar scope and complexity
  • Experience with engineering and science-based contracts
  • An active DoD Top Secret with SCI Eligibility Clearance

  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant corporate and government regulations and standards
