The Deputy Director will oversee daily operations of programs, ensuring quality services are delivered consistently with an emphasis on the needs and expectations of the people supported. This role acts as a liaison with licensing entities, ensuring program services and records meet state, federal, and local requirements. The Deputy Director will provide support and supervision to Directors, Managers, and Direct Support staff, and will research, develop, and implement new program components. This position is responsible for overseeing policies and procedure development, keeping abreast of state regulations and current trends, and educating staff on waivers, services, and internal policies. The Deputy Director will also oversee the person-centered planning process and participant funding streams, serve on internal and external committees, build strong relationships with families, advocates, and stakeholders, and ensure all activities align with the mission, values, philosophy, and management principles of Athelas Institute, Inc. Other duties may be assigned by the CEO.
