The New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) is seeking a Deputy Director for Investigations and Compliance within Citywide Equity and Inclusion (CEI). This role is for a dynamic and collaborative individual with EEO investigative and supervisory experience. DCAS's Citywide Equity and Inclusion (CEI) division provides guidance and support to city agencies to ensure the proper implementation and adherence to federal, state, and city-mandated workplace non-discrimination policies and procedures. CEI fosters equitable, diverse, and inclusive employment practices across New York City, developing the City's EEO Policy and providing best practice guidance impacting the workforce of over 80 agencies. The Investigation and Compliance Unit within CEI updates and guides agency EEO Officers on investigative and reasonable accommodation processes, develops and presents legally mandated non-discrimination training, and conducts high-level discrimination complaint investigations when agency EEO Officers or heads are involved. CEI also collaborates on strategies to fulfill EEO mandates and equity initiatives, guiding agencies in developing their own Diversity & Inclusion strategies through annual Diversity & EEO plans.
