The role involves updating the transfer records database using Record Management Systems (Clerk RMS) based on documents recorded with the Register of Deeds and received from the Court System, ensuring accuracy for property history. Responsibilities include preparing and processing transfer reports and court documents, updating the Clerk RMS transfer record database for property splits, and researching/reconciling discrepancies in transfer record databases by tracing property history. The role also involves assisting customers with public access resources, demonstrating research processes, and explaining the functionality of various systems like the Transfer Book, Historical Records SQL Database, GIS system, and Aumentum.
