About The Position

Serves in a leadership and management position in a tribal health clinic that provides ambulatory care and community health services. Assures that patient needs are met in a professional, friendly, caring, and culturally appropriate manner. Responsible for compliance with the laws, regulations, policies, and accreditation standards. Reviews and implements tribal and funding agency policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Health Administration, Public Relations, Management, or a related field; or six (6) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software; and Word Processing software.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
  • Employee must not and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
  • Educated on and compliant with HIPAA regulations; maintains strict confidentiality of client information.
  • Must Meet and maintain periodic background investigation and adjudication for childcare.
