About The Position

The Democratic National Committee's Technology Team is seeking a Deputy Chief Technology Officer to join their strategic and technical leadership team. This executive-level role will help set and operationalize the direction of the largest technology team in the Democratic campaign ecosystem, providing support for 2026 midterm campaigns and laying the groundwork for 2028 and beyond. The Deputy CTO will report to the Chief Technology Officer and will be a critical partner in the Tech Team’s continuous evolution. This role will also partner closely with the Chief Security Officer and the Heads of Data & Engineering, Product, and Strategic Partnerships. The team is looking for a versatile leader who will complement the experiences and expertise of the current leadership team, and they are open to tailoring the focus of this role to match the strengths of the right candidate. The team is fully remote, distributed across 19 states, and values diversity in perspective, lived experience, and the many paths into political technology. They aim to break the boom-bust cycle of political tech work and build technology infrastructure that supports campaigns from cycle to cycle.
