The Deputy Chief Information Officer (Deputy CIO) plays a critical leadership role in advancing the university’s digital transformation strategy. Reporting to the CIO, the Deputy CIO is responsible for designing and executing an integrated roadmap for enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, and service-oriented IT solutions that support teaching, learning, research, and administrative excellence. This role leads the planning and delivery of a portfolio of mission-critical IT initiatives—ensuring alignment with institutional goals, IT governance standards, and long-term architectural vision. The Deputy CIO cultivates and mentors a high-performing team of IT professionals, business analysts, and developers, while also managing relationships with technology vendors, cloud service providers, and consulting partners. The Deputy CIO acts as a strategic bridge between technology and the broader university community, driving innovation, accountability, and measurable value in all technology services.
