Requirements

Must have an in-depth knowledge of applicable technical manuals, service bulletins, maintenance manuals, maintenance forms, and work progress sheets.
Must be knowledgeable of Technical Directives (TDs) and OPNAVINST 4790.2 series.
Must be knowledgeable of and understand basic supply procedures.
Must have experience writing with clarity and technical accuracy.
Must have the ability to use good judgment, make sound decisions, and effectively direct the work of other employees.
Employees designated as Lead must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
Must have the ability to accurately carry out written or verbal orders, instructions, and directives.
Must be customer oriented.
High school diploma or equivalent, minimum.
5 years of experience supervising and leading daily workload operations of personnel supporting scheduled and unscheduled Depot Level maintenance and repairs.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) CAC (Commons Access Card)
Must have a Valid US Drivers License required

Responsibilities

Perform all duties associated with the assigned job classification.
Oversee, as assigned, part or all of the following: Program and Schedule Compliance, Workforce Direction and Coordination, Records, Reporting, and Quality, Safety, Security, and General Duties.
Ensure Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) schedules, inductions, and completions are complied with.
Ensure Modification Line Technical Directive (TD) incorporations are complied with.
Ensure Strip and Paint (S&P) schedules, inductions, and completions are complied with.
Ensure Service Life Extension Program (SLEP)/Inlet schedules, inductions, and completions are complied with.
Ensure In Service Repair (ISR) schedules and completions are complied with.
Assign and direct the productive efforts of assigned employees to ensure the timely completion of all required maintenance.
Coordinate all maintenance-related actions with other affected work centers.
Authorize cannibalization actions as required.
Instruct assigned employees on proper maintenance methods and procedures as required.
Assist in training programs as required for employees assigned to him/her.
Responsible for the satisfactory completion of assigned work and the preparation and maintenance of required records.
Formulate necessary reports to the Government.
Assist in mishap repairs/reports required for this program.
Ensure required quality control inspections are complied with.
Maintain appropriate records of all work accomplished.
May be required to perform simple computer input functions.
Enforce foreign object damage (FOD), hazardous waste, and tool control programs.
Assist as directed to ensure the safety, security, and preservation of Government/Company-owned equipment.
Comply with all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations applicable to the contract, facilities, and job assignment.
May be required to perform off-site service on assigned detachments.
Perform other related duties as required.
