About The Position

The Depot Manager is responsible for directly supervising a minimum of 1800 accounts and/or 10 employees across one or two depots. This role involves ensuring adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and applicable laws, while working closely with the District Manager to achieve depot performance in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and safety compliance. The manager will oversee employee management, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and conflict resolution. Additionally, the role requires managing payroll, ensuring DOT compliance for drivers, conducting regular audits of vehicles, equipment, and facilities, and managing inventory and supplier communications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Strong mechanical ability.
  • Basic knowledge of building construction process.
  • Must have a clean driving record that meets NuCO2’s Safety Point System.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree useful, but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a supervisor preferred.
  • Experience using UltiPro Payroll System, Inventory Control Programs, Microsoft Office products.
  • Previous experience in plumbing, cable installation, or construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises a minimum of 1800 accounts and/or 10 employees.
  • Adheres to and enforces the organization’s policies, procedures and Federal/State applicable laws.
  • Interviews, hires, and trains employees.
  • Plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines employees; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
  • Works closely with District Manager to ensure Depot performance in both KPI’s and Safety compliance.
  • Manages and signs off on employee payroll system.
  • Manages and trains drivers on DOT Compliance Hours of Service with the aid of company vehicle tracking device and payroll system.
  • Conducts daily and monthly audits of company vehicles, equipment and facility to company standards and OSHA/DOT compliance.
  • Views all E-mails and responds as necessary in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reviews completed trips report to ensure route completion and productivity.
  • Manages and adjusts workloads in the routing system for deliveries and service.
  • Reviews completed service and installation activities while using company approved Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s).
  • Manages and accurately reports daily and monthly inventory.
  • Sends daily Product level readings to Suppliers via Supplier website and receives daily deliveries using company inventory software.
  • Submits trip records if driving an apportion plated vehicle (1st and the 15th).
  • Reviews and approves timesheets for payroll.
