About The Position

At CEVA Logistics, our Contract Logistics operations power some of the world’s leading brands through best-in-class warehousing, distribution, and supply chain solutions. The Contract Logistics Operations Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting a live warehouse operation while learning the fundamentals of site-level P&L management, workforce planning, and operational leadership. This internship is designed as a development pathway for students interested in building a long-term career in operations leadership. By the end of the internship, the intern will: Understand how a contract logistics site operates day-to-day. Gain exposure to how operational decisions impact profitability. Develop foundational knowledge of P&L management. Learn key drivers of labor efficiency and cost control. Build leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Or related field

Responsibilities

  • Partner with supervisors and managers to support daily warehouse operations (inbound, outbound, inventory control, quality).
  • Assist in monitoring labor productivity, service levels, and order accuracy.
  • Support shift reporting and operational performance tracking.
  • Participate in daily Gemba walks and operational meetings.
  • Assist with continuous improvement and process optimization projects.
  • Learn the components of a site-level P&L (revenue, labor costs, fixed costs, variable expenses, margin).
  • Support analysis of labor spend vs. forecast.
  • Assist with tracking operational KPIs tied to financial performance.
  • Participate in budget reviews and monthly financial discussions.
  • Help identify cost-saving opportunities and productivity improvements.
  • Observe frontline leadership practices and employee engagement strategies.
  • Support workforce planning and scheduling initiatives.
  • Learn safety compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in documentation of SOPs and performance metrics.
