About The Position
The Depot Egg Room Associate is responsible for verifying egg counts picked up from farms and entering them into the computer system. This role involves performing and maintaining all paperwork associated with customer orders, pulling eggs for customer orders, and preparing them for shipping. Accuracy and timeliness in order processing are crucial. The associate will maintain open communication with management, hatchery personnel, and production planning, and is responsible for maintaining correct physical inventory.
Requirements
- Must be able to work flexible hours at night.
- Standard shift is from 3:00pm to 1:00am.
Responsibilities
- Verify egg counts picked up from farms and entering into computer system.
- Perform and maintain all paperwork associated with customer orders.
- Pull together eggs for customer orders and prepare eggs for shipping.
- Ensure orders are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain open communications with management, hatchery personnel and production planning.
- Responsible for maintaining correct physical inventory.
