About The Position

As a Deposit Service Specialist II at Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU), you will play a vital role by handling advanced member inquiries and assisting in resolving issues as they arise. In addition, you will take on compliance-based responsibilities, requiring a good understanding of regulations, processes, and statutes. This position offers a Hybrid Work From Home arrangement with 2 days per week required in the office. SCCU prioritizes internal promotions and offers on-the-job training, providing opportunities for career growth within the organization.

Requirements

1-3 years financial operations or financial account servicing experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of advanced member inquiries, review and analyze complex deposit accounts, providing resolutions in a timely and professional manner and proposing effective solutions.
Supports the daily operation of the Deposit Services department by executing assigned tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency in order to maintain excellent service to members and Team Members.
Reviews and completes all Deceased Account requirements in a timely manner.
Tracks and reviews IRA and HSA activity and documentation for compliance, accuracy, and completion. Processes IRA deposits and distributions sent in through the mail in accordance with regulation.
Actively participate and contribute to departmental process improvement initiatives and the implementation of changes in procedures and documentation to maintain compliance with evolving regulations.
Seeks additional training and certification opportunities if needed, and completes all required training as necessary.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve intricate member concerns and provide in-depth solutions.
