About The Position

Diamond Credit Union is seeking a driven and passionate Deposit Processing Associate to join their team. This role is responsible for completing all aspects of deposit processing operations, including daily Check21 processing, mobile deposit capture, ATM/ITM settlements, and quality control to ensure consistency throughout teller areas. • Available to work Thursday and Friday evenings until 7:30 PM and 6:30 PM respectively on a rotation basis.
• Available to work Saturday between 8:30 AM and 12:00 PM on an as needed basis.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of cash or check handling experience, preferably in a financial institution.
• One year of fraud awareness and industry knowledge surrounding financial fraud trends.
• Knowledge of Teller Operations and ATM support.

Responsibilities

• Processing of check transactions through various payment channels.
• Reviewing for fraud indicators for various Check 21 files such as mobile deposits, wire remittances, and ATM / ITM deposit files and coordinating resolution with other departments.
• Operations and balancing of the fleet of ATM / ITM terminals in conjunction with other lines of business.
• Assisting in branch operations by processing cash orders to the Federal Reserve Bank, routing of mail to the branch, researching check transaction issues, and assisting in balancing GL accounts tied to ATM / ITM.
• Initiation of various wire remittance requests.
