As the Deposit Operations Manager, you will provide day-to-day oversight to the Operations team, ensuring all aspects of the bank’s deposit operations run smoothly. Requirements

  • Excellent customer service and problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong understanding of loan underwriting, ability to identify missing items, advanced organizational skills, ability to work under deadlines, independent thinking, the ability to visualize cause and affect relationships of data and documents, analytical skills, clear and concise reporting, self-motivation, strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrated teamwork as well as leadership ability.
  • 4 year college degree or related work experience
  • Strong aptitude for technology systems and processes
  • System/Program implementation experience
  • Accuracy and attention to detail required.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and programs with working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously, meet deadlines, and show flexibility to change direction when needed
  • Team-oriented and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
  • Service-oriented, polite, and respectful
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to take direction and instruction and follow through independently until project completion

Responsibilities

  • Guide, support, and supervise personnel to ensure an effective, proactive, and team-driven environment.
  • Promote and enhance the development of the team and position through education, webinars, and training. Complete performance appraisals, coaching, corrective action plans, and hiring.
  • Provide department leadership recommendations of change, improved processes, and enhancements to operational workflow, project management, and software systems through evaluation, research efforts, and analysis.
  • Review processes, procedures, and workflow to identify, recommend, and develop training opportunities to assist the operations department in limiting negative customer impact and increasing efficiencies.
  • Develop an understanding of all functions to be able to provide assistance in emergencies and to gain insight into each position’s workflow and level of content.
  • Responsible for Disaster Recovery, Information Security, and Pandemic planning and implementation.
  • Primary responsibility for the daily cash position calculation.
  • Ensure the wire transfer process maintains the highest level of authorization security to protect against unauthorized movement of funds.
  • ACH processing management including monitoring and enforcing ACH policies and procedures.
  • Bank Control Administration.
  • Manage year end process to ensure timely reporting to customer, IRS and other regulatory reporting requirements.
