About The Position

Monson Savings Bank is seeking a Deposit Operations Administrator to support key deposit operations and retail administration functions. This role assists with overdraft administration, returned item processing, EFT dispute management, fraud monitoring, and other critical deposit operations activities. Working within the Loan & Operations Center located at 75 Post Office Park, Wilbraham, MA, the Full-time Deposit Operations Administrator generally works 40 hours per week, within standard business hours Mon-Fri. Potential for future hybrid remote work option. Regular in-office presence is required. Some of the position responsibilities include: Serve as a resource to Retail branch staff, working collaboratively to resolve operational issues Administer and monitor the Bank’s overdraft program, including file imports, customer notifications, reporting, and account maintenance Manage returned item processing, including exception items, stop payments, and Federal Reserve returns Process debit card EFT disputes and chargebacks, including provisional and final credits and required customer notifications Investigate and resolve potential fraud alerts related to checks, ACH, HELOCs, and other activity Complete customer research requests for audits, subpoenas, account verifications, and regulatory agencies

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail banking, deposit operations, or similar role preferred.

  • demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands and priorities
  • ability to work independently and strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • ability to type accurately and proficiently
  • good interpersonal skills with team and customer service approach to work responsibilities
