About The Position

Fleetline writes optimization algorithms for enterprise trucking fleets. We work with some of the largest fleets in the country and are rapidly scaling our operations. Scaled from 0 to >$1.5m in signed contracts in under eight months. Lean team of 12 based in New York City; everyone deeply cares about the company’s mission, our clients, and each other. That care translates into high standards, close relationships, and intensity. Backed by a large seed round from top investors like BoxGroup, Base10, and more. A strong deployment strategist will have the ability to lead an industrial organization through one of the largest digital transformations it has gone through in decades. We’re looking for people who can in the short-term execute deployments at a high-level, and in the long-term help shape the playbook for how we deploy our software with clients and recruit a team that can execute that playbook.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an industrial organization through one of the largest digital transformations it has gone through in decades.
  • Gain credibility with clients by deeply understanding transportation and logistics and the idiosyncrasies of their operations.
  • Communicate cleanly to gain the confidence of the team.
  • Speak with conviction and confidence to win the confidence of management at enterprise fleets.
  • Lead the deployment of new technology.
  • Figure out the best organizational structure and workflows to propose to each fleet based on their particular circumstances.
  • Manage multiple large clients at once.
  • Be willing to do whatever it takes to push the deployment, team, and product forward.
  • Recruit engineers and future operations team members.
  • Triage issues and come up with product lines based on experiences being on the ground with clients.
  • Help scale the revenue function.
