CADDi•Chicago, IL
•$195,000 - $225,000•Onsite

About The Position

CADDi is hiring a Deployment Partner to own customer engagements from initial discovery through deployment of adopted workflows and subsequent enterprise expansion. The role works with stakeholders across plant-floor operations, procurement, quality, engineering, and executive leadership to identify where AI and a shared data foundation can deliver value. The Deployment Partner uses CADDi’s AI Data Platform and workflow-specific products, configuring solutions for each customer and remaining accountable for time-to-value, delivery of promised solutions, measurable enterprise-wide impact, and renewals. The position combines pre-sales, customer success, and data expertise. It works alongside an Account Executive on commercial activities and Forward Deployed Engineers on technical work beyond the platform configuration. The company hires at two levels: Deployment Partners own standard deployments end-to-end, while Lead Deployment Partners lead the most strategic accounts, including value validation, technical solution design, engineering coordination, and executive-level change management. The role is based in CADDi’s Chicago office, with five in-office workdays per week and travel to customer sites as needed. The posting lists DP on-target earnings of $195,000–$225,000 and says equity is offered. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents (Green Card holders).

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as solutions consulting, implementation, forward-deployed engineering, or analytics consulting.
  • A track record of owning complex deployments end-to-end and driving measurable adoption and expansion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences, from operational management through the C-suite.
  • Comfort structuring messy, multi-source data into clear models that define semantics and relationships.
  • Willingness to work from the Chicago office and travel 40–60%.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card holder).

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, or similar tools for data exploration.
  • Comfort reading API documentation and discussing system architecture with engineers.
  • Manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain experience.
  • Bilingual Japanese and English.
  • U.S. Person status / ITAR eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with cross-functional customer teams in engineering, procurement, quality, and operations, onsite as needed, to understand workflows and identify sources of lost time and money.
  • Advise customer leaders, from operational management to the C-suite, on where AI and a shared data foundation can create value, and agree on business success criteria.
  • Identify relevant customer data, including drawings, quotes, part records, and supplier data, and model it in the platform; work with Forward Deployed Engineers when deeper integration is required.
  • Partner with Sales before deals close to validate value using real customer data and demonstrate an early result.
  • Build and deliver tailored demonstrations for prospects and existing customers.
  • Own deployment plans from scoping through production, coordinating customer stakeholders across business units, IT, procurement, and compliance.
  • Define customer data semantics, configure the data layer, and build Explorer configurations and plugins, reusing existing configurations, plugins, and libraries where possible.
  • Deploy CADDi workflow products for user groups, shape CADDi Agent deployments, and conduct training and adoption sessions.
  • Coordinate Forward Deployed Engineers addressing technical gaps, including data pipelines, custom integrations, and advanced analytics.
  • Define and track deployment success metrics and quality standards, and conduct QBRs with customer and CADDi leadership.
  • Maintain the operational health of live deployments, including environments, data pipelines, configurations, and access as customer data, users, and processes change.
  • Design and quantify ROI, and present findings to audiences ranging from shop-floor users to executives to support decisions and action.
  • Identify account expansion opportunities and work with the Account Executive on upsell, cross-sell, and global rollout opportunities.
  • Share field observations with Product and Engineering to inform the roadmap, and contribute reusable configurations and learnings to the shared library.
