About The Position

This position will support the work of the People and Culture Manager in the development and administration of the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) People and Culture leadership program in alignment with MGCB's mission, values and goals. This position is responsible for performing professional research and analyzing data and information related to creating and maintaining a harmonious work environment. Responsibilities include gathering, categorizing, and analyzing narratives and statistical data about past and current workplace matters related to developing and sustaining an inclusive and accessible work environment. This position also prepares and disseminates reports, makes recommendations about workplace engagement and training initiatives, and is an integral resource in meeting the mission of the Michigan Gaming Board (MGCB). This position will assist with the development and revision of MCGB processes and practices to ensure an inclusive and accessible work environment and align with the mission, vision, and values of MGCB.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
  • Departmental Analyst 9: No specific type or amount is required.
  • Departmental Analyst 10: One year of professional experience.
  • Departmental Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
  • Departmental Analyst 9 - 12: Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.
  • Must report any possible conflict of interest.
  • Must provide a reference check from your current or most recent supervisor.
