About The Position

The Michigan Department of Treasury is seeking a Continuous Improvement Analyst to support strategic initiatives, enhance employee engagement, and lead process improvement efforts across the department. Requirements

Experience facilitating process improvement initiatives using a proven methodology.
Strong analytical skills with experience developing and interpreting metrics.
Familiarity with employee engagement strategies and tools (e.g., survey analysis, action planning).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across teams.
Commitment to inclusion, diversity, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
One year of professional experience (for Departmental Analyst 10).
Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service (for Departmental Analyst P11).

Responsibilities

Lead and support continuous improvement events to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
Develop, track, and analyze metrics to identify trends, measure impact, and support data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with teams to interpret employee engagement survey results and implement strategies that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and priorities.
Provide guidance and training on continuous improvement tools, techniques, and best practices to build internal capacity.
Partner with teams across Treasury to identify opportunities for improvement and support implementation efforts.
