Requirements

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain it throughout employment in the position.
  • Attach a detailed resume and cover letter.
  • Attach a maximum one-page response describing the role of a Grant Coordinator for an agency that offers competitive grant funding. Include this document as an attachment titled "Grant Coordinator Role."
  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
  • For Departmental Analyst 9: No specific type or amount of experience is required.
  • For Departmental Analyst 10: One year of professional experience.
  • For Departmental Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
  • For Departmental Analyst 12: Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.
  • Alternate Education and Experience for Departmental Analyst 9 - 12: Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.

  • Previous experience in transportation, planning or engineering is preferred, but not required.
