This position functions as the Bureau of Children’s Coordinated Health Policy and Supports’ (BCCHPS’) Communication, Connections, and Navigation analyst and is a member of the interdisciplinary team within the Clinical Support and Service Navigation Section. This position is the recognized resource for service, guidance and information expertise related to community-based services and coordination/collaboration between BCCHPS and Children’s Services Administration (CSA). The advanced level analyst prepares, develops, and procures information and resources specifically designed for children and youth, parents/caregivers (including foster and adoptive parents and relatives) and child serving systems staff, directly related to the array, criteria, and access to community-based services and supports. This advanced level analyst facilitates clinical reviews for situations involving youth involved in foster care, and assists parents and caregivers, child service professionals, and behavioral health providers for the purpose of eliminating barriers to access and implementation of needed services. The Communication, Connections, and Navigation analyst is directly responsible for the monitoring tracking, evaluating, and disseminating of data related to information sharing methods and education provided to children, youth, parents, and those working with children, youth, and families involved within child serving systems (including private agencies).
