The Access to Care Program is seeking a full-time, temporary Department Secretary for up to 18 months to support the Mood & Anxiety Ambulatory Service. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the successful candidate will work collaboratively within a large, inter-professional team. The Department Secretary is responsible for welcoming and supporting clients who arrive at the clinic’s reception area, many of whom may be in distress or experiencing mental health symptoms. A warm, professional, and compassionate presence is essential to creating a safe and supportive environment through frequent telephone and in-person interactions. The role requires the utmost discretion in handling sensitive information and maintaining client confidentiality at all times. The Mood & Anxiety Ambulatory Service and the broader Access to Care Program operate within a dynamic clinical environment. As such, this role requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate must be comfortable adjusting to evolving workflows, shifting priorities, and program changes, and demonstrate a collaborative, solution-focused approach when supporting the team through these transitions.
