About The Position

The Department Secretary is responsible for providing and coordinating office and organizational responsibilities necessary for the operation and support of the medical staff/providers and department. The secretary works as part of a team and frequently acts as a liaison between department staff and internal/external customers. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • 2 years of clerical/secretarial experience OR recent graduate of a formal clerical/secretarial training 2-year program required
  • Strong computer, phone, and customer service skills are beneficial for this role

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare or administrative/office training strongly preferred
