Position Summary To provide secretarial services for the Genesis Hospice Program through support of the standards and philosophies of Genesis Health System, VNA, and Hospice. These services include all aspects of patient referral intake, including but not limited to patient registration, insurance verification and authorization, scheduling and coordination, preparation of medical records, guest reception, and phone triage. Provides customer assistance. Performs tasks that support and coordinate the orderly flow of information within the Hospice Program for patients and staff. Coordinates communication intra and interdepartmentally. Performs other duties as assigned.
