About The Position

The Department Manager leads shifts and may be responsible for managing assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Positive team player.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Passion to work the famously fast-paced McDonald’s environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience.
  • Manage assigned Systems, such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
  • Set goals, delegate tasks to teams, follow up, and report results.
  • Ensure the delivery of great quality and safe food to customers.
  • Control food costs and train kitchen staff in production procedures.
  • Ensure the restaurant hires qualified crew, trains them well, and schedules them to meet sales and profit goals.
  • Ensure crew members have a good start, are recognized, and motivated.
  • Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
  • Oversee sales promotions.
  • Ensure all service staff are trained in service procedures.
  • Organize Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
