About The Position

London Drugs is seeking innovative, patient-focused professionals to join their team as Pharmacy Managers. This role involves providing professional leadership to the Pharmacy Department, ensuring high standards of practice, exceptional pharmacy services, and efficient operations. The Department Manager is responsible for hiring, scheduling, payroll, and the ongoing training and development of pharmacy staff. The position emphasizes patient care, active engagement in patient counseling, profile monitoring, drug usage reviews, and involvement in disease management, compliance programs, community seminars, and workshops. This is a challenging retail pharmacy position for professionals with professionalism, commitment to excellence, and drive.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
  • 1 - 2 years of community pharmacy experience.
  • Valid Registered Pharmacist license and in good standing with the provincial College.
  • Strong working knowledge of all aspects of the pharmacy business.
  • Willing to participate in continued education to upgrade his/her knowledge.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent customer and staff relations.
  • Ability to lead a team and have a coaching management style.
  • Ability to work quickly, multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • A high level of professionalism, energy and enthusiasm.
  • Strong computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one year of management experience.
