About The Position
As a Cosmetics Department Manager at Von Maur, you represent the company and help uphold its reputation for customer service. You drive beauty and skincare business growth by building and maintaining relationships, executing events, and inspiring associates to provide effective customer consultations and high-quality service. You motivate, train, coach, and lead associates by example, while also performing all duties of a cosmetics sales associate. You assess associate performance, provide feedback, and develop solutions to improve service, sales, and department results. The role requires availability for rotating day, evening, and weekend shifts. Responsibilities
- Motivate, train, coach, and lead associates by example to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Perform all duties of a cosmetics sales associate.
- Assess associate performance to improve customer service, increase sales, and meet department goals.
- Provide associates feedback on service, selling, and account statistics.
- Develop and implement solutions to address customer problems and department needs.
- Build and maintain relationships, execute events, and inspire associates to provide effective consultations and top-tier service.
- Work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
