About The Position

This role is responsible for assisting with daily operations, including unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and managing promotional displays. The Department Head will also handle special orders, provide excellent customer service, and monitor for shoplifting. This position requires a proactive approach to tasks and effective communication with both customers and staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months-1 year of retail experience.
• Technically proficient in computer systems including related software.
• Ability to gather and analyze data and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to take initiative, assume responsibility, and execute thoroughly.
• Ability to interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
• Possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company’s insurance carrier’s standards.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help unload incoming trucks and put away merchandise.
• Execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by the store manager.
• Remove promotional bin tags from displays/price tags as required.
• Restock merchandise displays and watch end caps and side wings.
• Handle special orders for all non-stock items.
• Provide excellent customer service and interaction.
• Monitor for shoplifters and act in line with company policy.
• Respond to radio requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
