About The Position

This role involves assisting with the unloading of incoming trucks and putting away merchandise. The Department Head will execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by the store manager, working with an "Ace Pace." Responsibilities include removing promotional bin tags, restocking merchandise displays, monitoring end caps and side wings, and handling special orders for non-stock items. A key aspect of the role is providing excellent customer service, never telling a customer no without manager approval, and watching for shoplifters in line with company policy. The position also requires responding to radio requests and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months-1 year of retail experience.
• Technically proficient in computer systems including related software.
• Gather and analyze data and maintain accurate records.
• Take initiative, assume responsibility, and execute thoroughly.
• Interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
• Possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company’s insurance carrier’s standards.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help unload incoming trucks and put away merchandise (as arranged by management).
• Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals/priorities assigned by store manager move with your “Ace Pace”.
• Remove promotional bin tags from displays/price tags as required.
• Restock merchandise displays as needed, watch end caps and side wings.
• Handle special orders for all non-stock items.
• Never tell a customer no without checking with a manager.
• Watch for shoplifters and act, in line with Elder’s policy, that will discourage shoplifting.
• Respond to radio requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
