About The Position
Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Department Assistant to join our Care Management team. This position is full time, non-exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $27.88 - $39.36/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.
Requirements
- High School diploma required
- 3-5 years administrative experience
- Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Suite of products
Responsibilities
- Supports the team through performing clerical functions such as meeting minutes, creating letters and spreadsheets, maintaining Outlook calendars for the team, ordering supplies and supporting the leader and department.
- Answering the department phone.
- Reserving conference rooms.
- Preparing reports.
- Maintaining computer time and attendance.
- Preparing immigration and Visa letters for patients.
