About The Position

The Depart Group Associate verifies freight details and performs related audit and support work. The role involves completing Live Loaded and detention call audit processes, understanding basic interactions between drivers and customers, and using AS400, Qualcomm, a multi-line phone, and email. The associate also attends key departmental training, such as Safety, Floral, and Detention training, and performs related work as required. The schedule is four days on and four days off, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The position is primarily indoors in a general office environment with regulated heating and cooling. Call volume can be heavy at times.

Requirements

Strong organizational, computer, and customer service skills.
Accurate typing speed of up to 40 words per minute.
Ability to multitask and work a flexible schedule.
Ability to sit and remain focused and motivated for long periods.
Ability to multitask between the computer, phone, and different projects.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of the trucking or transportation industry is preferred.
An associate’s degree from a university is preferred; alternatively, one to three years of related office-setting or customer-service experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Verify freight details.
Complete the Live Loaded call audit process.
Understand basic interactions of the driver/customer relationship.

Attend key departmental training, such as Safety, Floral, and Detention.
