About The Position
Lumina HealthCare is seeking a Part-Time Dentist (1-2 days/month) to provide dental services at multiple facilities within a designated territory in the Flagstaff, AZ area. The role involves rounding in Skilled Nursing Facilities, offering services to residents in post-acute rehab settings, nursing homes, PACE programs, assisted living facilities, and long-term acute care hospitals. The position offers a weekday commitment with no call, evenings, or weekends, and involves delivering dentistry at the bedside and chairside.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD
- State professional license
- Valid state driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine, preventative dental examinations
- Perform routine extractions and fillings
- Perform denture fabrications, relines, and repairs
- Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Build a good rapport with patients, patient's families, facility staff, and company staff
- Provide excellent chairside communication to enhance the patient experience
- Deliver dentistry at the bedside in post-acute care setting as well as chairside in the adult day habilitation setting
- Round daily at multiple facilities
