About The Position
The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a reputable health center in La Puente, CA committed to providing access to high-quality healthcare while empowering patients, employees, and community partners to improve their well-being and strengthen the health of the communities they serve. We are looking to hire a qualified and experienced Dentist for their Dental Clinic. Reporting to the Dental Director, the Dentist is responsible for delivering quality dental care while overseeing and supervising dental hygienists and assistants.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree
- Current California dental license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to provide age-appropriate patient care
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet programs
- Ability to accurately document treatment notes, care plans, records, and reports
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple dental operatories
Responsibilities
- Deliver dental services directly to patients
- Adhere to the health center’s Dental and Medical Clinic protocols and policies
- Follow established industry standards and guidelines
- Supervise clinical support staff as required by law and health center needs
- Support program development in consultation with the Dental Director
- Promote cost-effective practices within the dental department
- Maintain quality assurance standards in collaboration with the Dental Director
- Participate in provider meetings and related activities
- Participate in additional activities as directed by the Dental Director
