About The Position
MHM Solutions, a Centurion company, is seeking a Dentist to join their team at the South Mountain Secure Treatment Unit in South Mountain, Pennsylvania. This is a contractor position for 1-3 days per week. The Dentist will be responsible for providing comprehensive professional dental treatment to incarcerated patients, including routine exams, extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.
Requirements
- Graduation with a degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from a school approved or recognized by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
- Successful completion of an approved U.S. residency training program; with emphasis in the Dental Medicine, with emphasis on preventive and corrective dentistry and hygiene.
- Possession of a current unrestricted license to practice dentistry in Pennsylvania issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
- Possession of a current unrestricted certificate to prescribe medication from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency.
Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of incarcerated patients including routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.
