About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care is seeking a traveling part-time dentist to provide care in outpatient clinics in Central Michigan, serving senior populations. The dentist will work in established clinic environments as an extension of the clinical team, within a coordinated, community-focused setting. Clinic staff are on site full time, and the organization provides equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics so the dentist can focus on patient care. The role emphasizes quality over volume, consistency, administrative support, long-term clinic partnerships, and ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery. The position involves working five weekdays per month, typically from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, at locations in Mt. Pleasant, Bay City, and Flint. Compensation is $800 per visit. The role is an independent contractor (1099) position. There are no night or weekend shifts and no billing or administrative responsibilities.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited program.
- Active Michigan dental license.
- Strong clinical judgment and chairside manner.
- Comfort practicing in outpatient clinic environments.
