About The Position

Valley Health is a vital healthcare provider serving over 125,000 patients annually across southern West Virginia, southeastern Ohio, and eastern Kentucky. With a network of more than 60 facilities, they offer a comprehensive range of services including family medicine, women’s health, dentistry, internal medicine, ENT, optometry, pediatrics, and behavioral health. They also provide specialized programs such as WIC nutrition services, school-based health centers, black lung treatment, homeless outreach initiatives, and pharmacies. Valley Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dentist to join their team in East Huntington, WV, to provide high-quality dental care and contribute to their mission of enhancing patient health and well-being. The dental program provides services out of eight locations.

Requirements

DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school.
Valid state dental license in West Virginia or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental examinations and treatments, including restorative and preventative procedures.
Diagnose oral health conditions and create effective treatment plans.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive measures.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulations.
Work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals and support staff to deliver exceptional care.
