About The Position

HealthDrive is currently seeking a Dentist to work full-time (5 days per week) in Rhode Island. The position offers competitive compensation with uncapped earning potential, mileage reimbursement, and benefits available from Day 1. It also provides flexible scheduling with no evening or weekend hours, clinical autonomy, an established patient base with no patient quotas, 100% malpractice coverage, full administrative support, dedicated Regulatory Affairs and Compliance teams, and all necessary equipment and supplies, including a laptop with a proprietary EMR system. Experienced leaders are in place to drive and support clinical and corporate success. HealthDrive delivers on-site dentistry, optometry, podiatry, audiology, and behavioral health services to residents in long-term care, skilled nursing, and assisted living facilities, focusing on improving the quality of daily life for residents.

Requirements

  • D.D.S. or D.M.D.
  • State professional license
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Dentistry background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management and evaluation of dental care.
  • Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use email, the internet and to learn other healthcare related software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general dentistry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory.
  • Perform routine, preventative examinations.
  • Conduct examinations for oral cancer screenings.
  • Perform routine extractions and fillings.
  • Perform denture fabrications, relines, and repairs.
  • Provide emergency services.
  • Enter patient information and complete required clinical documentation in the EMR system.
  • Travel daily to skilled nursing facilities for mobile model treatment of patients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
