Requirements

Graduation from an approved school of dentistry.
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
Must be in possession of a license to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
Must be able to perform essential job functions.
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

Perform exams, review x-rays, and provide cleanings and treatments for residents
Provide restorations, root canals, extractions, periodontal care, and infection treatment
Educate residents on hygiene practices and develop individual dental service plans
Implement sterilization procedures and ensure safe handling of equipment and materials
Maintain accurate documentation, summaries, and consent forms for all dental services
Provide consultation to staff and coordinate scheduling and follow-up care
