About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Dentist in Oshkosh, WI. The role involves performing a wide range of dental examinations, diagnostics, and treatments, including restorations, extractions, and cleanings. The dentist will be responsible for diagnosing oral conditions, developing treatment plans, and providing both emergency and routine dental care in accordance with WIDOC policies and infection control standards. Accurate record-keeping and collaboration with other healthcare staff are essential components of this role.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin.
• Knowledge of general dentistry practices, infection control, and dental radiography.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental examinations, diagnostics, and treatments including restorations, extractions, and cleanings.
• Diagnose oral conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide emergency and routine dental care following WIDOC policies and infection control standards.
• Maintain accurate dental records and documentation in compliance with departmental procedures.
