About The Position
The Dentist provides dental services to inmate patients at the assigned institution while following facility security regulations. The role includes maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services and providing records to the director or designee to support compliance with the client contract and compensation for services rendered. This position provides Monday through Friday coverage.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of dental medicine.
- Must have and maintain current licensure as a dentist in the state of employment.
- Must obtain and maintain CPR certification.
- This position is available only to people who reside in the United States.

- One year of experience in general dentistry preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide dental care and treatment to referred patients in accordance with facility regulations and standards.
- Perform routine cleaning, restorative dentistry, and extractions as needed.
- Evaluate patients’ dental care needs and make clinically appropriate recommendations.
- Take impressions for dental appliances and instruct patients in good dental hygiene techniques.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Provide in-service training for health staff members.
- Follow the facility’s security regulations.
