About The Position

Join Hillsborough Dental Center, an established, family-run dental practice focused on clinical excellence, team collaboration, and patient trust. We are seeking a doctor who desires to build genuine patient relationships and potentially take over the legacy of a well-loved practice. This role offers a supported path to becoming a trusted provider without a high-pressure environment. The position is initially part-time with significant potential for long-term growth, including the possibility of becoming a full-time legacy doctor as the current doctor transitions. We are open to both experienced dentists with specialty skills (implants, endo, clear aligners) and new graduates eager for mentorship.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
• Valid dental license.
• Proficiency in general dentistry procedures.
• Willingness to learn and be mentored (for new grads).
• Interest in specialty skills like implants, endo, or clear aligner therapy (for experienced candidates).
• Ability to work Wednesdays and Fridays.
• Friday is a required work day.

Nice To Haves

• Specialty skills in implants, endo, or clear aligner therapy.
• Experience with Invisalign and high endo volume.
• Experience with PPO payor mix.

Responsibilities

• Provide general dentistry services.
• Build real relationships with patients.
• Potentially place implants (currently referring out implant placement).
• Perform endodontic procedures.
• Provide restorative care.
• Utilize iTero digital scanning technology.
• Participate in annual team mission trips to the Dominican Republic.
