About The Position

Powell Dental Group is looking for an organized, outgoing, motivated, people-loving, patient-focused Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our growing team! In this key role, you’ll be the bridge between our clinical team and our patients—helping people understand their treatment, feel confident in their options, and take the next step toward the care they need. This position plays an important role in helping our patients understand their care, overcome obstacles, and ultimately get the treatment they need.

Requirements

  • Previous dental office experience, especially in treatment coordination, scheduling, insurance, or front desk responsibilities
  • A strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance
  • Confident, friendly, and comfortable discussing financial arrangements
  • Ability to handle questions or objections professionally and empathetically
  • Experience with dental practice management software (we use Eaglesoft)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to follow through without needing to be reminded multiple times
  • Enjoy working with people and building relationships with patients
  • Positive, dependable, motivated, and team-oriented
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while still keeping a smile on your face

Responsibilities

  • Present and explain treatment plans in a clear, compassionate, and confident way
  • Help patients understand recommended treatment and answer their questions
  • Coordinate treatment appointments and keep schedules moving efficiently
  • Verify dental insurance benefits and help patients understand and maximize their coverage
  • Review patient portions, payment options, payment plans, and third-party financing
  • Follow up with patients who have unscheduled treatment and help them get back on the schedule
  • Work closely with our dentists and clinical team to make sure treatment plans and documentation are accurate and current
  • Maintain detailed notes regarding treatment status, patient communication, and financial arrangements
  • Keep track of treatment plans from presentation to completion
  • Assist with other dental front-office and administrative responsibilities as needed
