About The Position

A-Team Dental Staffing has partnered with a well-established, comprehensive dental practice in the Santa Clarita/Valencia area to recruit a highly motivated, results-driven Treatment Coordinator / Dental Treatment Closer for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity. This practice is looking for a hungry, confident go-getter who knows how to build trust, communicate the value of treatment, overcome objections, and convert recommended dentistry into scheduled care. The ideal candidate is comfortable presenting larger treatment plans, discussing finances, and consistently following up with patients who have not yet scheduled. The practice has been operating for over 40 years and is seeking someone who takes ownership of the treatment pipeline, follows up consistently, understands the numbers, and helps patients overcome barriers to receiving the care they need.

Requirements

  • Previous dental Treatment Coordinator experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to achieve strong case acceptance and close treatment
  • Comfortable presenting and closing high-dollar treatment plans
  • Strong communication, sales, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements
  • Experience with implants, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, and comprehensive restorative cases highly desirable
  • Strong follow-up skills with the persistence to pursue unscheduled treatment
  • Confident handling patient concerns and objections
  • Goal-oriented and motivated by measurable results
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Professional, personable, and patient-focused
  • Ability to work effectively in an outcome-oriented environment
  • PPO and fee-for-service experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Curve Dental and Weave experience are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Present comprehensive treatment plans clearly, confidently, and professionally
  • Build strong relationships and establish trust with patients
  • Educate patients on recommended treatment, value, timing, and next steps
  • Present and close larger implant, cosmetic, restorative, Invisalign, and comprehensive cases
  • Discuss treatment fees and financial arrangements confidently
  • Explain available payment and financing options
  • Identify barriers preventing patients from moving forward with treatment
  • Confidently address objections involving cost, timing, fear, insurance, or treatment commitment
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with patients who leave without scheduling
  • Re-engage patients with outstanding or unscheduled treatment
  • Maintain an organized treatment follow-up pipeline
  • Work toward strong case-acceptance and treatment-conversion goals
  • Help increase scheduled production through effective treatment presentation and follow-up
  • Coordinate closely with the doctor, hygienist, and clinical team
  • Maintain accurate patient and treatment documentation
  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience from treatment presentation through scheduling
