About The Position

The treatment coordinator turns a diagnosis into a scheduled appointment. Doctors find what patients need. You help patients understand it, afford it, and commit to it. Most of what you present runs from a few hundred to several thousand dollars, and it is the difference between a busy practice and a productive one. Before a patient sits down with you, the insurance estimate and financing options are already built in Dentrix. You walk them through the plan in plain language, find out what is really holding them back, and ask for the decision. Large plans get broken into phases the patient can start today. Between consultations you work your list of pending and unscheduled treatment, calling until every case is either scheduled or closed. You hand off cleanly to the front desk and clinical team so scheduled treatment actually happens, and you know your case acceptance numbers every week.

Requirements

Treatment coordinator or case presentation experience in a dental office
Dentrix experience
Working knowledge of dental insurance, estimates, and third-party patient financing
Confidence, warmth, and competitiveness
Ability to create urgency by explaining consequences of waiting, not by pressure
Comfort with asking for the decision and handling silence after stating the price
Ability to build trust quickly
Ability to follow up on undecided cases until an answer is reached
Precision in estimates, notes, and handoffs
