Slone Dental is seeking an experienced Treatment Coordinator to join their team in Lexington, KY. This full-time role is crucial in bridging the gap between clinical diagnosis and patient commitment, acting as an educator, financial guide, and patient concierge. The ideal candidate will ensure patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their treatment journey in a warm, people-first practice environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a dental office
- High School Diploma or GED
- Dental knowledge
Nice To Haves
- Coronal polishing and/or X-ray certification
Responsibilities
- Guide patients through treatment recommendations after their exam
- Break down clinical information into clear, approachable explanations
- Present accurate financial estimates, explain insurance coverage, and set up payment plans
- Collaborate with the insurance coordinator to verify benefits and obtain pre-authorizations
- Follow up on outstanding treatment plans to keep schedules full and patients on track
- Assist with front office responsibilities, including scheduling and coordinating appointments
- Serve as the go-to patient advocate, answering questions and supporting the overall patient experience
